At UKBB we have the most modern diagnostic equipment available for analysing the above-mentioned diseases (EOS, 3 Tesla MRI etc.).

The team has the most modern implants and techniques to correct even the most severe deformities and leg shortening. Motorised lengthening nails (PRECICE®, Fitbone™), which can be used in a minimally invasive manner. Patient-specific cutting templates and implants are also used here, especially for congenital and severe deformities. These are produced in the in-house 3D laboratory. The team is supported intraoperatively by the use of the latest digital navigation technology.

In the area of paediatric and adolescent hip disorders, the broad spectrum of all pelvic osteotomies is offered in an age-specific manner (including triple, Pemberton and periacetabular pelvic osteotomies).
