Paediatrics sub-assistant positions

Under the supervision or guidance of senior or assistant doctors, you will care for hospitalised or outpatients. As a junior assistant, you will also be assigned to the paediatric emergency ward during late-night and weekend shifts. You can take part in all of the clinic's teaching events as well as numerous further training events for interns. You will also have enough time for self-study.

• Create an anamnesis
• Examine newborns, infants and children
• Create differential diagnoses
• Observe the course of the disease
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Working together with the nursing and medical team
• Participate in patient presentations during medical appointments

If you would like to apply for a sub-assistant position in paediatrics, we need some documents from you.

Required documents for applicants with Swiss citizenship or a C permit:

• A short letter of motivation
• CV
• Copies of the confirmation of enrolment
• Copy of the last certificate
• Your AHV/SV number

Additional documents for applicants without Swiss citizenship:

• A copy of the passport
• An original passport photo if you are staying in Switzerland for longer than three months
• Whether you are spending time in Switzerland before or after your internship
• A deposit of CHF 200, which must be transferred to our UKBB account. You will receive a request for this. The amount transferred will be paid back to you with your first salary.
