Create EPD

The electronic patient dossier (EPD) is a collection of treatment-related documents, such as a medical report or laboratory results.

If you would like to create such a dossier, please contact a Dossier opening centre. There you will find further information on the EPD.

Release EPD documents for a consultation

Inform us as early as possible if you want the UKBB to download documents from your EPR and view them in preparation for the planned consultation.

Please send us by e-mail the following information:

  • Surname, first name
  • Date of birth
  • Healthcare facility (hospital, medical practices)
  • Treatment period

Without this information and your corresponding authorisation to access the documents in your EPD, we cannot download any data.

To enable the UKBB to obtain the documents from your EPD, you must have authorisation for the group "University Children's Hospital Basel: All clinics" issue.
