Public transport
As there are only a few parking possibilities available in the vicinity of the Children's Hospital, we recommend arriving by public transport.
- From the main SBB railway station, take bus no. 30 and get off at the "Kinderspital UKBB" bus stop
- Buses no. 30, 31, 33, 36, 38, 603, 604 also stop at the "Kinderspital UKBB" bus stop
- Alternatively, take tram no. 11 and get off at the "Johanniterbrücke" tram stop
Arriving by car
You can park in the neadby Parkhaus City at a reduced rate. You can find more detailed information in the flyer "Parking at UKBB".
Arriving from the A2/A3 motorway
Either:
- Exit in the direction of Basel City/Bahnhof SBB (Railway Station); follow the signs to the Bahnhof SBB/Universitätsspital (University Hospital); park in the Parkhaus City parking garage on Schanzenstrasse.
Or:
- Drive in the direction of EuroAirport and exit at Basel-St. Johann; turn left at Voltaplatz onto Elsässerstrasse/St. Johanns-Vorstadt; follow the signs to Universitätsspital/Kinderspital (UKBB) and park in the Parkhaus City parking garage.
