The Immunology and Infectious Diseases Departments are involved in the interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with frequently recurring and/or unusual infectious diseases. Our services include

  • Immunodeficiency investigations and care of children and adolescents with immunodeficiencies
  • Care of newborns and infants of mothers with immunosuppressive or immunomodulatory therapy during pregnancy/breastfeeding

We work closely with the Children's Hospital Zurich or with the Genetics of the University Hospital Basel as well as with other subspecialities at the UKBB, such as rheumatology and pneumology.
